Imagine 'The Dark Knight' As a Romantic Comedy Dec 11th 2012, 00:00 When you think about it, the basic plot of "The Dark Knight" has a lot in common with a romantic comedy: Bruce Wayne is single and ready to mingle until he meets Rachel, who's tangled up with his BFF Harvey Dent. Bros before hoes, Batman! The oddball in the equation is the Joker.
