Around this time each year, high school seniors who have applied for early decision find out they've been accepted to the school of their choice, and they quickly join the requisite Facebook groups. A lot of guys see this as a way to bond with their fellow students before school starts, but everyone who has made it through Orientation Week knows that the groups are about as helpful as Dwight Howard's move to the Lakers. When you're 15 beers deep with a guy on your hall in August, you're not exactly seeking out the dude who responded to your "Any other Game of Thrones fans out there?" question you asked back in May. Friendships don't work like that. They're much more organic—and by that, I mean, they require booze.
