The Trailer for 'Olympus Has Fallen,' Plus Why It's Awesome for Studios to Release the Same Movies Jan 23rd 2013, 00:00 It's always fun when movie studios realize they're going to release films with more or less exact same premise in one year, say screw it, and then put them out within months of each other anyway. Sure it's a sign that Hollywood is creatively starved, but more importantly it gives us a chance to treat the flicks like a football game or something and pick an undisputed winner. 1998's "Films about Asteroids Hitting Earth" category saw "Deep Impact" and "Armageddon" squaring off ("Armageddon" won), then there was the 2011 "Buddies Who Bone Each Other" matchup that pitted "Friends with Benefits" against "No Strings Attached."
