Back in 2006, two series, "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" and "30 Rock," debuted on NBC with the exact same premise: What actually happens behind-the-scenes at a "Saturday Night Live"-type show? The two programs were inevitably compared, and when they were, everyone expected "Studio 60" to be the better show, because it was Aaron Sorkin's. "30 Rock," meanwhile, was this goofy 30-minute sitcom that featured, in its first five minutes, Tracy Morgan wearing tighty-whities and waving a lightsaber. No one expected that much.
